Each year, we try to give the kids exotic birthday adventures. Last year, Preston dreamed of the ultimate golf adventure, so we ordered up a few golf pros and had golf lessons topped off with a swimming party. This year, Preston began scuba diving in the pool at home and helped dad attack the algae spots with chlorine tablets. While down there, Preston decided that it would be fun to have everyone come over and go scuba diving. After mom and dad thought about it, they managed to find that there were actually scuba diving parties for young kids in Tucson. Thus the adventure started to take shape.

Unable to book the party until the end of August, on Aug. 6th, the day of his birthday, we celebrate at home with Preston. |

He receives a new camouflage bed spread and matching sheets for his new water bed. |

Dad's gift to him, although small and cheap, is the hardest thing for dad to give up--a Carnival Destiny sunglass strap that dad was saving for himself. Preston had worn his old one to the point of no return and dad figured that Preston needed it more than he did. |

Mom and dad finally break down and buy Preston an X-Box along with a few games. |

Although the X-Box is great, Preston actually is more thrilled to receive another 6 Hardy Boys adventure books for his collection from Grandma and Grandpa Seal. He has really taken off on reading through this series of books. |
