The day began to take its toll on dad as he passed on the tea cups--one of mom's favorites. And in the end, the day was even more than any of us could have dreamed of. Coming down the last ride on Splash Mountain, the 25th anniversary birthday-cake-like decorations on the castle rise out of the sky before the final splash and before we head home!

Early the first morning in Orlando, Disney MGM Studios is the first attraction we visit since it's the one we missed last time. The Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular convinces Preston he wants to use his vacation funds to buy a gun--against mom's wishes, but it has remained his favorite toy even now.

Barely skimming the top of the measuring stick, Brooklyn slides past the attendants and experiences her first true attraction. Two years earlier Preston had gone on Star Tours in California for his first ride. Brooklyn loved it and felt like a "Big Girl" not having to wait outside like in the past.

Just as we thought we were lucky, our luck almost ran out. Though she had learned to tippytoe past the measuring marks, the attendants at the new Hollywood Tower of Terrors didn't let her slip by. After a judgment call from the manager on duty, we lucked out and Brooklyn loved the ride while Preston clung tightly to mom and decided he didn't want to do that one again.

Though it may never rain in southern California, rain was common place in Orlando as each day we "cooled" off during the afternoon humidity shower.

Missing Splash Mountain's measuring stick by three plus inches, Dad and Brooklyn shop while Mom and Preston wait through the hour-long line to ride. Brooklyn bought a necklace and Piglet with her vacation funds. Of course, give Greg an hour to think, and you never know what he'll come up with . . .

. . . it's amazing just how tall napkins in your shoes make you grow! Several inches of napkins later, and a pony tail on top of her head, amazingly, Brooklyn was tall enough to go on Splash Mountain, Run-Away Railroad, and all the other rides.Though the napkins required frequent changing as they would squish down, we finally got to go on rides together as a family. No more baby swap passes for us!

Lion King was a family favorite all of us remembered from last year. Preston wasn't even scared of the Hyena this time!

Though we were beginning to need a day off already, we ventured out once more to Epcot this time excited to see the musical fountains.

Fun in the fountains continued as Preston and Brooklyn enjoyed one of their very favorite parts of the trip, playing in the magical fountains. Though they were certainly soaked after almost an hour, both pleaded to go back for more before we left for the day.

Once dry and after Brooklyn napped through the wait for Honey I Shrunk the Audience, back to the water they went as Preston was determined to catch one of the jumping waters.

And what would it be without a trip to Sea World to see Shamu, and, well, the Baywatch Ski show. Trying to convince everyone he is doing it "for Preston's sake" so Preston won't be scared, Greg accompanies the kids to get a picture with a Baywatch Babe! What could be more fitting for the perfect ending for Greg to our wonderful vacation.
