Wow!. Fourteen Days in Orlando. Never before were we able to spend so much time on vacation. How did this happen? Unfortunately, it came from the untimely death of Greg's mom. Two years before this trip, we were just arriving in Orlando when we received the awful news that Betty Jo had just been hit by a car while crossing a street. Southwest Airlines, Alamo Rental and Westgate Lakes were a few of the wonderful companies that helped us during this crisis. Westgate Lakes was was able to give us back a week of timeshare although we had already arrived and taken possession. This allowed us to bank one week within the next two years. Two years had passed so we took the extra week and combined it with this years week. We were ready to spend 14 days in Orlando.
We decided to book the rooms early in March. When late May came, Susan found a conflict in her schedule and we had to call Westgate Lakes and explain our situation. Again they came through getting us off the hook and managing to work around our conflict.
Susan had to work up till that last hour before leaving. Packing for the trip didn't happen until the last few hours. Our check list that we update for each trip came in handy as we quickly threw things together and headed to Phoenix to catch our first flight.
