Upon entering Universal, Greg noticed that "Home Matters" was filming at Universal Studios. This is a television show which discusses home improvements and arts and crafts.
Greg instantly jumped at the chance to be a studio audience member. He tried to explain to Susan just how cool Susan Powell was and that she was crowned Miss America in 1981.
We got our pass and entered the studio. Of course, nobody but Greg really knew what the show was about. The female announcer below was in charge of warming up the crowd before the show. She instantly picked Brooklyn out of the crowd and discussed with her what she wanted to be when she grew up. Of course, Brooklyn answered "Barbie". This led them into a detailed discussion about all of her barbie dolls.
We stayed for about 3/4ths of the show before we had to leave. Later in the year, we were notified of when the show would appear on TV. Yes indeed, we were definitely on the show quit a bit when they showed the audience members. It was a lot of fun for all to see ourselves on TV.
